In the 8th minute, Attila Kádár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth van der Leegte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Kádár, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Frits van Loo's late challenge caught a Stardust Unicorns XI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frits van Loo helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice moves Attila Kádár could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Kenneth van der Leegte however easily saved by the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Stardust Unicorns XI's goal looked a bit too open when Gerjan Staarman came free, but Ulf Skoog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Attila Kádár 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Attila Kádár was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 27 minutes into the game, Attila Kádár cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kenneth van der Leegte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Attila Kádár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters rose to their feet, but Attila Kádár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth van der Leegte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Mariano Bombarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Skoog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attila Kádár stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Bombarda hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Kenneth van der Leegte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Attila Kádár went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in SV Wissenkerke's zone, Attila Kádár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth van der Leegte came out of the goal and Attila Kádár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Cosme Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Haitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Cosme Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth van der Leegte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SV Wissenkerke booed when Stardust Unicorns XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Bennis didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stardust Unicorns XI fully deserved thier win.
