When Steve Carrier came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Saint Côme de Fresné fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Carrier couldn't finish the play. Erwin Jury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Damian Oneț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Jury recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrico Donatelli made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Horea Tomoioagă however managed to control. In the 21st match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Le Thiec to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Horea Tomoioagă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gameiro Lenoble skillfully saved the ball. Damian Oneț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Jury, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute, Erwin Jury left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint Côme de Fresné fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pascal Pont kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Saint Côme de Fresné's Erwin Jury got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Damian Oneț successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 47 minutes into the game, Enrico Donatelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Sharks Constanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Côme de Fresné the free kick. Enrico Donatelli kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Erwin Jury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Damian Oneț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Prohorov made a kick off. Damian Oneț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erwin Jury's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 57 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Steve Carrier. Damian Oneț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Jury, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Prohorov in the 68th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erwin Jury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Oneț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Enrico Donatelli hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Erwin Jury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saint Côme de Fresné fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Sharks Constanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
