When Darren Mignot fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saint Côme de Fresné's protests and gave Darren Mignot a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Darren Mignot hit a great ball. Juan Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davy Poirrier in the 18th minute. Erwin Jury hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Erwin Jury could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Juan Velloso however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Catarinense in the 25th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Gameiro Lenoble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erwin Jury went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute Erwin Jury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Kiko Teixeira hit a great ball. With his leg Juan Velloso managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Saint Côme de Fresné's Erwin Jury fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erwin Jury made a kick off. When Davy Poirrier came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Saint Côme de Fresné fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Davy Poirrier couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Kléber Saldanha could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Gameiro Lenoble however easily saved by the left post. In the 56thth minute of the game Erwin Jury who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oranil's Juan Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Pascal Pont hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Oranil booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luc Boulogne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Jury might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Velloso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erwin Jury ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Erwin Jury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Jury scored 2-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Velloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute Erwin Jury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Davy Poirrier. Erwin Jury recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saint Côme de Fresné's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
