Henrique Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Luís Fernando Almeida made a huge save. Baldomero Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. Febre Amarela's Luís Fernando Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Carvalho in the 77th minute of play. After 79th play minutes Edu Carvalho shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Luís Fernando Almeida and just under the crossbar into goal.
