The audience was convinced that Manolo Bacete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Femke Bol was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. A.D. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Gil Pirani quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Manolo Bacete, made in the 24th minute of the game. With a little luck, A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena got control of the ball when Cássio Guimarães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Guimarães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurino Serena having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Pastor Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Gitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurino Serena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Maurino Serena made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Abelardo Veloso got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Belo Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the A.D. Alcorcón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belo Alvarez couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belo Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belo Alvarez came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Femke Bol could save by the left post. After 57 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Guimarães. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Şakir Aydınoğlu was substituted for Pastor Gitano. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eriz Acha replaced Natxo Cacheres. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Delmar Mayor. After a rather tough play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Cássio Guimarães got a free kick in the 59th minute. Belo Alvarez in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Femke Bol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 68 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Guimarães came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manolo Bacete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Femke Bol having to interfere. Manolo Bacete struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Femke Bol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Alcorcón. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Femke Bol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bebeto Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Reis in the 95th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
