After a rather tough play, Roceira SC's Andrés Maraschin got a free kick in the 6th minute. Figueira SC FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Malin Koshkov in the 8th minute. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Haaland in the 9th minute of play. The corner ended in Nilmar Trigo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol did a great save. A hard shot 15 in the game by Pastor Gitano from a close distance when the talented Marcelinho Barral managed to make a qualified save. Roceira SC's players were relieved. 17 minutes into the game, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Yuri Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Femke Bol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Speed, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Femke Bol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés Maraschin in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luís Paulo Trevisan hit a great ball. Femke Bol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Trevisan in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Figueira SC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Hulk Speed came free, but Femke Bol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Hulk Speed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Femke Bol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hulk Speed in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Femke Bol saved Figueira SC FSCMZ from getting behind. Cássio Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Barral having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Abelardo Veloso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Şakir Aydınoğlu was substituted for Pastor Gitano. In the 61st match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şakir Aydınoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Marcelinho Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Figueira SC FSCMZ. If Cássio Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Barral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Roceira SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Figueira SC FSCMZ.
