After some careless play in the Febre Amarela defense, Deilmison van Basten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fernando Almeida. The Febre Amarela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fernando Almeida should have stopped the shot. After having played for 12 minutes, Alexsandro Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Febre Amarela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Deilmison van Basten came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the ATHLETICO PRaiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deilmison van Basten couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Febre Amarela's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Luís Fernando Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Febre Amarela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Luís Fernando Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Febre Amarela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATHLETICO PRaiano were winning 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deilmison van Basten made a kick off. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vitor Beckenbauer got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. Febre Amarela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Deilmison van Basten scored to the left of an out of position Luís Fernando Almeida, making the score, 0-8. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Febre Amarela's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 95 in the game by Ralf Albäck from a close distance when the talented Luís Fernando Almeida managed to make a qualified save. Febre Amarela's players were relieved. Luís Fernando Almeida stood somewhat misplaced when Ralf Albäck came free in front of goal and shot 0-13 to the left of him in the 95 minute.
