The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tolgahan Onatkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere. Belo Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belo Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolgahan Onatkan in the 11th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jens-Ove Malm could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Maurino Serena however easily saved by the left post. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 28th minute. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolgahan Onatkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Jens-Ove Malm took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Maurino Serena to make any attempt to save it. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolgahan Onatkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belo Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Marcos Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Siqueira in the 55th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcos Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Nereo Acosta. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Siqueira in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Erlantz Bermejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Malm in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jens-Ove Malm sped through A.D. Alcorcón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Belo Alvarez hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Erlantz Bermejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after A.D. Alcorcón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcos Siqueira took the corner. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Tolgahan Onatkan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurino Serena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 85th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Arce to maneuver through the defense. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Lenílson Gomes was substituted for Tolgahan Onatkan. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Delmar Mayor got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Quijana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Marcos Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Rio Verde F.C CIMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
