Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Paul Møffelmand, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Nilson Peres was a little too slow when Deilmison van Basten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres got control of the ball when Deilmison van Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Jean-Paul Møffelmand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deilmison van Basten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nilson Peres came out and tried to block the shot, but Deilmison van Basten slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Paul Møffelmand came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Porto. The crowd rose to their feet as Deilmison van Basten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nilson Peres. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

ATHLETICO PRaiano's Heitor Maldini was substituted for Betão Marquez. Denílson Magalhães hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodriguinho Sousa. That made the score 4-1 after 73 minutes of play. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was substituted for Evelio Rico. ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Baggio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Møffelmand in the 89th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Paul Møffelmand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting a goal against them. The ATHLETICO PRaiano players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
