Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel de Godoi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Bernal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Moraes came free, but Abelardo Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel de Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Bernal having to make a save. In the 18th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olivedos's goalkeeper Abelardo Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Igor Milko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Maranhense was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Abelardo Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Igor Milko made the kick off in the second half. Olivedos were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luisinho Ceresso took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalie and right to Alexsandro da Costa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Abelardo Maranhense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
