The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Barreto was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Airborne FC's Pedro Paulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Milko in the 15th minute of play. Valentin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Moraes in the 24th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Matorin. Casimiro Jatsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Valentin Bernal made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Jatsu got free with Valentin Bernal in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Lucio Morningstar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Bernal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Jatsu in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Casimiro Jatsu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valentin Bernal, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Airborne FC's Sven Lind was substituted for Danilo Principe. 53 minutes into the match, Igor Milko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Barreto. Airborne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Milko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Moraes in the 55th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Gilson Matorin got a free kick in the 56th minute. Valentin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Jatsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Casimiro Jatsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. In the 84th minute Casimiro Jatsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Casimiro Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Airborne FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Jatsu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Airborne FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. César Sampaio hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by César Sampaio. Valentin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 97th minute of play. Airborne FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ had controlled the match.
