Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Valentin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Vidal in the 21st minute of play. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Moraes in the 40th minute of play forced Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalkeeper Amauri Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ove Malm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Bernal having to interfere. Heintje Koehler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 54 minutes into the match. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ! Valentin Bernal had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Tolgahan Onatkan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The throw-in from Murilo Brito in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Luiz Paulo Dracena. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Valentin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Cayetano Monico got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Monico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soin Buisan in the 94th minute of play.
