The crowd rose to their feet as Lucio Morningstar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Valentin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro de Godoi in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's Valdomiro de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Bernal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Moraes in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Valdomiro de Godoi sped through Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valentin Bernal. After some careless play in the Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ defense, Valdomiro de Godoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Bernal. The Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Bernal should have stopped the shot.

But to his dismay, Igor Milko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Cayetano Monico replaced Igor Milko. Romando Futebol Clube's Niva Bellido was substituted for Valdomiro de Godoi. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Luiz Paulo Dracena was substituted for Luiz Eduardo Albuquerque. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Paulo Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Moraes's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Valentin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Maillard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Dagoberto Moraes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Romando Futebol Clube's Joélson de Mendonça got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Romando Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Juninho Paulista hit a great ball. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Morningstar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Luiz Paulo Dracena made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Romando Futebol Clube's Joélson de Mendonça. Romando Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
