After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Casimiro Jatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airborne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Jatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hansjörg Wastl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Casimiro Jatsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hansjörg Wastl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute Naldo Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Paulo Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hansjörg Wastl came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu. But to his dismay, Casimiro Jatsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Danilo Principe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hansjörg Wastl came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Airborne FC's Casimiro Jatsu. But to his dismay, Casimiro Jatsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 30th minute, Casimiro Jatsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomero Hermon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pedro Paulo Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Jatsu in the 35th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Henrique Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Airborne FC made a substitution. Sven Lind replaced Danilo Principe. It was a well-played corner which Äli Abdulrähmanov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 67th minute of the match Airborne FC got a corner. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qin Xiang Chuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Airborne FC's Horia Lupu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Edu Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Paulo Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Carvalho went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Lupu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emiel Desmet was substituted for Naldo Valladares. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Valdemar Tepedino replaced Felippe Pitta. Airborne FC made a substitution. Cássio Chaves replaced Marcos Linares. Horia Lupu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Carvalho in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Paulo Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81stth minute of the game Casimiro Jatsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Carvalho in the 84th minute of the match. Hansjörg Wastl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Jatsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Airborne FC's goalie prevented a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Airborne FC's Horia Lupu in the 94th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hansjörg Wastl was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ through an amazing save. 96 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emiel Desmet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Paulo Barreto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Airborne FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Airborne FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
