Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonides Rosio in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Bakar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Gorbea. When Aves Negras's Rogelio Fe in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie prevented a goal. Leonides Rosio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Bakar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Lester Serre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Fe's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Rogelio Fe put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lester Serre. Lester Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Olarticoechea to maneuver through the defense. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Fe in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Matro came free, but Lester Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Rosio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 36th playminute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Mouricio in the 71st minute of play forced Aves Negras's goalkeeper Marcial Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Guter Tobia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lester Serre. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guter Tobia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Aves Negras made a substitution. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 95th minute of play.
