The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Benedito Fiúza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lester Serre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute Benedito Fiúza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Orion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Percy Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Lester Serre. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 33rd minute Percy Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Llavallol FC's Agustin Orion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Llavallol FC from getting a goal against them. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Fiúza in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Rosario to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of San Lorenzo de Sarandi booed when Llavallol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre got control of the ball when Percy Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Orion having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Llavallol FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
