Marcial Bakar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcial Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Rosio in the 11th minute of the match. Leonides Rosio might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Bakar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonides Rosio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre got control of the ball when Guter Tobia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Rosio got free with Marcial Bakar in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
