Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Elian Benedicto started the match with the kick off. Villawalter City's Antonio Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Villawalter City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villawalter City's Antonio Canal did a great save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elian Benedicto in the 8th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elian Benedicto in the 10th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Villawalter City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villawalter City's Antonio Canal did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Canal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. When Felix Montes got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Ecuador. Antonio Canal came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Villawalter City's Eliseo Berasko got a free kick in the 40th minute. The Villawalter City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-1.

After 51 minutes, Elian Benedicto made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elian Benedicto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Canal. Antonio Canal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 58th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Canal having to interfere. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Canal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes Villawalter City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elian Benedicto in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Villawalter City's Antonio Canal got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Elian Benedicto came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Villawalter City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elian Benedicto couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villawalter City throughout the match.
