Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Tartalo in the 5th minute. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12thth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Hernan Lano sent off a good shot on target. Hernan Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Cassius Byrne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Natalio Mazuste hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soroca F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cassius Byrne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist did a great save. USA were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Soroca F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dan Wennerqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao got a free kick in the 37th minute. After the first half USA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adrián Espadas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrián Espadas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monty Rogers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hernan Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 63rd minute of play. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Wennerqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Norberto Liberato kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. The supporters of USA booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Tartalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Natalio Mazuste hit a great ball. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes Jenson Smith shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Dan Wennerqvist when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. USA were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
