After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Ralf Sundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Ralf Sundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fusk&Bygg AB booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Sundin was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Golang in the 52nd minute of play. Su Premetis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Premetis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Fusk&Bygg AB's Ralf Sundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fusk&Bygg AB had played much better football throughout.
