Rubinho Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Dé Terra with Barnaba Kolba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Callegari's Rubinho Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of play. Barnaba Kolba took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Clóvis Proença kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Clóvis Proença sent off a good shot on target. Clóvis Proença could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Clóvis Proença tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Chile's Francisco Carballar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubinho Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaba Kolba in the 38th minute of play. Dé Terra hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Felix Dragnea hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After having played for 57 minutes, Barnaba Kolba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callegari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnaba Kolba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnaba Kolba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Callegari's Albertinho Teles was substituted for Grigoris Gavril. Callegari's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Delfim Tepedino in the 64th minute. Delfim Tepedino made a great header on Callegari's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. After 69 played minutes Callegari got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Tepedino. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rubinho Lago made a huge save. 75 minutes into the game, Joaquin Isoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Callegari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chile the free kick. Joaquin Isoba kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Guerrero came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Callegari's Rubinho Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Callegari's Rubinho Lago got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Guerrero came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Guerrero in the 94th minute of play. Eduardo Guerrero struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Callegari. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
