Carno FK's Victoro Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Victoro Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play forced Carno FK's goalkeeper Hayrullah İrfanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Carno FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carno FK's Hayrullah İrfanoğlu did a great save. Carno FK's Şenel Rafet got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayrullah İrfanoğlu saved Carno FK from getting behind. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hayrullah İrfanoğlu. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Victoro Soto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Vollander in the 41st minute of the match. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carno FK's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Cameron Pruett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Hayrullah İrfanoğlu in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Sven Vollander notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Sven Vollander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Carno FK's Hayrullah İrfanoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoro Soto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayrullah İrfanoğlu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Sven Vollander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Sven Vollander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Vollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94thth minute of the game Victoro Soto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Şenel Rafet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The Carno FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
