Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off which started today's match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Armando Lamb in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Lamb recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Diego Armando Lamb showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 9thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Algarrobo's Everardo Ado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 12 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Ado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Everardo Ado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Diego Armando Lamb came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 17 minute. In the 20th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 23rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everardo Ado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Everardo Ado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Ado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Everardo Ado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Armando Lamb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 70th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 74 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Ado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Lamb in the 75th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Lamb in the 83rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Algarrobo's Diego Armando Lamb in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 89th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Everardo Ado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 91st minute, Dani Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Lamb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
