Juan Cuadrado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Manzanares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 乔昆然 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孔洲亦 in the 15th minute of play. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Jairo Eladio made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Cuadrado to make the kick off. A nice corner shot did that 孔洲亦 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Manzanares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santino Seco to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, 孔洲亦 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 孔洲亦 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3.
