The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Bochini got free with Vince Di Cola in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Placido Pero had several of the Samurai's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Vince Di Cola as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 11th minute, Braulio Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes, Samurai's Alto Wing shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldo Mannie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Samurai reached it. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Tsigalko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Samurai's Vince Di Cola got control of the ball when Franz Grassme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the game Mateo Lalla made a throw-in which Magnus Löfdahl played forward. Maxim Tsigalko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Mannie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 29th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Mannie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samurai's Vince Di Cola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Samurai from getting a goal against them. Vince Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Grassme, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Tsigalko came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Henriksson in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franz Grassme got free with Vince Di Cola in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ripa FC made a substitution. Joel Tehas replaced Ricardo Bochini. In the 57th minute, Timmy Henriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 64th minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Aldo Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Gu Chang Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vince Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samurai made a substitution. Esbjörn Hultstrand replaced Timmy Henriksson. Samurai's Åke Hamnberg was substituted for Hernán Grana. Åke Hamnberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aldo Mannie could save by the left post. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ripa FC from getting a goal against them. Gu Chang Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vince Di Cola having to make a save. Samurai's Vince Di Cola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Chang Peng in the 76th minute of play. Vince Di Cola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gu Chang Peng's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes Samurai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Smith Wigglesworth who took care of the corner kick. Gu Chang Peng struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Vince Di Cola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripa FC. In the 84th match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolffram Lobo to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Gu Chang Peng notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Samurai's Vince Di Cola. Vince Di Cola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateo Lalla made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samurai's Wolffram Lobo. Ripa FC's Aldo Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wu Qi in the 97th minute of play. The corner led Samurai's Alto Wing to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Mannie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ripa FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
