Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Abel Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Ilgaz Şirvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miki Jungslund. Miki Jungslund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 17 minutes into the match, Ilgaz Şirvan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilgaz Şirvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Miki Jungslund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Bueno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute Wilber Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quinton Marcheterre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Bueno. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Abel Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abel Bueno. Abel Bueno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Abel Bueno in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Bueno was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilgaz Şirvan in the 67th minute of the match. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Ilgaz Şirvan managed to work through Mexico's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ilgaz Şirvan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilgaz Şirvan in the 69th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Caio da Rocha in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Caio da Rocha. But to his dismay, Caio da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Qikiqtarjuaq FC made a substitution. Bastien Aldridge replaced Gary Thomason. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Bueno having to interfere. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Joshua Keys was substituted for Ilgaz Şirvan. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Abel Bueno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Qikiqtarjuaq FC from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the game, Felix Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qikiqtarjuaq FC the free kick. In the 94th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
