In the 22nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Noce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Cazalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abram Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Noce having to interfere. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Abram Sarmiento sped through The Nerd Herd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enzo Noce. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ni Zhan Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Noce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Samuel Navarro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The Nerd Herd booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 48 played minutes, The Nerd Herd's Odysseas Lagidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Nerd Herd reached it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Banas in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 52 minutes into the match, Marian Banas notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares.
