Sakarias Nordstedt scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sakarias Nordstedt in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 33rd minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Walat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sakarias Nordstedt. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Marc Wayne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syrianska FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Wayne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 60 minutes, Stig-Arne Melberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Syrianska FC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Melberg to maneuver through the defense. Syrianska FC made a substitution. Borys Walczyk replaced Malcolm Vennerlund. A wasted opportunity for Chile. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Orlando Casaus took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Arkadiusz Walat to make any attempt to save it. Sakarias Nordstedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Nordstedt in the 92nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Chile could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Syrianska FC throughout the match.
