Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elivélton Couto kicked off to start the match. Elivélton Couto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Couto took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Pedro Luiz Marinho with Christiano Pitta as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Nuno Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Nuno Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the game, Elivélton Couto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube de Regatas Flalengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Clube de Regatas Flalengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Couto to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Luis Rubio with Luis Rubio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Amauri Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentino Ferrant during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube de Regatas Flalengo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mateo Leguizamo was slow to take the kick. During this time El Salvador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo to fire away a dangerous shot which Amauri Xavier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Clube de Regatas Flalengo's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Amauri Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Amauri Xavier in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Mateo Leguizamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elivélton Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Clube de Regatas Flalengo booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute El Salvador were awarded a corner. Mateo Leguizamo went to the cornerflag to take it. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amauri Xavier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amauri Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube de Regatas Flalengo the free kick. In the 89th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. If Luiz Fabiano de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Clube de Regatas Flalengo fully deserved thier win.
