Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niilo Mikkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Niilo Mikkola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Honduras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Honduras:s Lautaro Navarro showed great skill when he stopped Niilo Mikkola:s penalty. In the 17th minute, Niilo Mikkola made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 20th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Niilo Mikkola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SeleSantos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 24 minutes into the match, Niilo Mikkola notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SeleSantos FC's Niilo Mikkola. But to his dismay, Niilo Mikkola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Casado in the 35th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Navarro to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Jacobo Casado notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niilo Mikkola to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Seco to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Leif Törnqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. Aílton Seco hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SeleSantos FC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dinei Pinheiro came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niilo Mikkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niilo Mikkola in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SeleSantos FC's Daniel Montenegro got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Pedrão Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivan Navarro was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Honduras! Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SeleSantos FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrão Godoi got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jacobo Casado. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Jacobo Casado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot.
