Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Ekegren in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luganeros AFC's Roland Oleszak got a free kick in the 20th minute. Roland Oleszak kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Damian Budianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Luisito Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Plăcintă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Vázquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Plăcintă was a little too slow when Janusz Ziemniak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Uribe was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Damian Budianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Staffan Ekegren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rene Sayvion, made in the 52nd minute of the game. Luisinho Uribe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Vázquez in the 57th minute of play forced Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goalkeeper Mihnea Plăcintă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
