Flavio Lavatrice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Hägele in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Molfetta sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Hägele came free, but Flavio Lavatrice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Lavatrice didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. GALACTICOS's Rey Acitores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ni Liang Yong in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Noel Hägele notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Molfetta sportiva's Flavio Lavatrice. Flavio Lavatrice was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Molfetta sportiva's Flavio Lavatrice got control of the ball when Noel Hägele tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GALACTICOS's zone, Cesare Di Renzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rey Acitores came out of the goal and Cesare Di Renzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Liang Yong in the 36th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Molfetta sportiva's Flavio Lavatrice played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Palos in the 38th minute of play. Flavio Lavatrice was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Noel Hägele showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. Fabiano Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noel Hägele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67th minute Alfredo Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Lavatrice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GALACTICOS's Rey Acitores got control of the ball when Ni Liang Yong tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rey Acitores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Iannone in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Molfetta sportiva getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Sebastian Alecu hit a great ball. Molfetta sportiva made a substitution. Dario Melani replaced Cesare Di Renzo. After 79 played minutes, GALACTICOS's Alessandro Nesta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Lavatrice came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GALACTICOS reached it. Dino Teles hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The long shot by Domenico Campo in the 82nd minute really tested Rey Acitores's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 85 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Melani. 87 minutes into the match, Molfetta sportiva's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Hägele came free, but Flavio Lavatrice reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Melani kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 90thth minute. Though ot was a great shot GALACTICOS's keeper Rey Acitores was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Alfredo Palos came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the GALACTICOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Palos couldn't finish the play. Noel Hägele struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Flavio Lavatrice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALACTICOS. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GALACTICOS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Molfetta sportiva had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
