Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Francesco Totti sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Los Mega's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Federico Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Mega's Federico Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Los Mega's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Jaizki quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Los Mega's Francesco Totti shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Jaizki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Mega's Federico Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play. If Hieronim Siwy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Jaizki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Federico Jaizki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Los Mega's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Mega's Federico Jaizki did a great save. 66 minutes into the match, Los Mega's goalkeeper Federico Jaizki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 79th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Totti in the 83rd minute of the match. Federico Jaizki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Totti in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Joseph who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mario Joseph got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 95th minute Abel Calvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Los Mega to leave the ground with a draw.
