Ruperto Rainerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 5thth minute of the game Orlando Mena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Mena in the 8th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Leon Platense's Constantino Anaya dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Orlando Mena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Mena in the 18th minute of play. Isidoro Rico hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ruperto Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Mena in the 25th minute of the match. Alípio Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernán Leandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33rd play minutes Gaafar Carrillo shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Alípio Torres and just under the crossbar into goal. 38 minutes into the match, Jabones Tocadores's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Anaya came free, but Alípio Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Bartoleme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Rainerio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Leandro in the 45th minute of play forced Jabones Tocadores's goalkeeper Alípio Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alípio Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Leandro in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Mena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Mena in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute of the match, Ladislao Bartoleme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruperto Rainerio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gaafar Carrillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alípio Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ruperto Rainerio managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Jabones Tocadores's Orlando Mena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute, Orlando Mena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 67 in the game by Orlando Mena from a close distance when the talented Ruperto Rainerio managed to make a qualified save. Leon Platense's players were relieved. Edgar Ahlgren kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jabones Tocadores made a substitution. Edgardo Felo replaced Rubens Machado. After 73 played minutes Leon Platense got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Ahlgren. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Leandro in the 77th minute of play forced Jabones Tocadores's goalkeeper Alípio Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Mena came free, but Ruperto Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruperto Rainerio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Orlando Mena sent off a good shot on target. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Mena in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Edgar Ahlgren hit a great ball. The supporters of Leon Platense booed when Jabones Tocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Saturnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Constantino Anaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
