The AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's Cauan Rosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Pavel Hojbota took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauro Mangueira saved AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF from getting behind. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lauro Mangueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Cauan Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Bomba was slow to take the kick. During this time AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 93 minutes, Nick Troelsgaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick Troelsgaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Bomba ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Siqueira during the 98th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AYRTON SENNA FC - FDFDF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
