After having played for 8 minutes, Don Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Cabezon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ardy Pakubuwono came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ardy Pakubuwono couldn't finish the play. Ardy Pakubuwono, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Luis Cazalla threw the ball into play from the sideline. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Iordache Barboni quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Don Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were awarded a corner. Ardy Pakubuwono went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Ardy Pakubuwono to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Mauro Dos Santos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Dacian Nițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Don Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gorri Sañudo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 45th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Dacian Nițescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dacian Nițescu made a huge save. Orlando Tafalla made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Santino Seco. A collision led to AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mauro Dos Santos hit a great ball. With a little luck, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Don Cabezon came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 77th play minute Abram Secada came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dacian Nițescu. 2-1. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
