Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michel Batistuta got the match started through his kick off. Zygmunt Bielejewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Cristian Sancho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gustaw Bendyk sent off a good shot on target. Gustaw Bendyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağlar Soyuncu to maneuver through the defense. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes STAL ST WOLA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of STAL ST WOLA's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. STAL ST WOLA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 37 minutes, Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Roman Matai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced STAL ST WOLA's goalkeeper Roman Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 44th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roman Matai. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. After 56 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Artaç Hendekli managed to get in a good position for a shot. STAL ST WOLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Artaç Hendekli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağlar Soyuncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Matai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute. Roman Matai made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 66th minute of play. Roman Matai made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Sancho during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Cristian Sancho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 94th minute. Artaç Hendekli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador played a much better game than STAL ST WOLA and deserved their victory. The STAL ST WOLA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
