Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Santarém in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Gasteiz Latorre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zarando Calva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 24th minute of play forced Atlético de Caracas's goalkeeper Zarando Calva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Alley in the 26th minute of the match. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Alley, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Gasteiz Latorre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zarando Calva. Gasteiz Latorre showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Zarando Calva came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre. But to his dismay, Gasteiz Latorre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 41st minute Rolando Alley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Atlético de Caracas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Sándor to maneuver through the defense.

The Atlético de Caracas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zarando Calva should have stopped the shot. Zarando Calva was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, Anthon Öberg notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Atlético de Caracas's Zarando Calva. Zarando Calva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Ákos Sándor in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Del Manfredi. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zarando Calva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthon Öberg went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score.
