After 10 minutes, Luis Andino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Schmeissen FC's Jarl Gunnarsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarl Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Camilo Gisbert made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. In the 18th minute, Calle Målare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced Schmeissen FC's goalkeeper Jarl Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Calle Målare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute Calle Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Målare took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Schmeissen FC's Urban Kellberg was substituted for Calle Målare. After 91 minutes, Urban Kellberg made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A nice corner shot did that Axel Sandberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Schmeissen FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
