An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurij Štencl in the 7th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ＤΞΣＰ░ＴΣＫ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alf Browald hit a great ball. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Wictor Andersson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurij Štencl in the 22nd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Andersson in the 24th minute of play. Alf Browald's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf Browald helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mexico booed when ＤΞΣＰ░ＴΣＫ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Browald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Wictor Andersson sent off a good shot on target. Jurij Štencl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, ＤΞΣＰ░ＴΣＫ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Jansson to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, ＤΞΣＰ░ＴΣＫ's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Ivan Vulturar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wictor Andersson to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yazid Said in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurij Štencl in the 55th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 57th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurij Štencl, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yazid Said in the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Yazid Said managed to get in a good position for a shot. ＤΞΣＰ░ＴΣＫ's supporters rose to their feet, but Yazid Said was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wictor Andersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, ＤΞΣＰ░ＴΣＫ's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Ivan Vulturar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
