Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ulf Olofsson kicked off to start the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 6th minute, Vilgot Sandberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 9th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Ulf Olofsson put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benjamin Stark struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KD Stiger. 20 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Sandberg came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilgot Sandberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. Bo Almqvist hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KD Stiger the free kick. Benjamin Stark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Vilgot Sandberg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexander Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alexander Carballo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Blixt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 54th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Benjamin Blixt made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Blixt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after KD Stiger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. The corner led Costa Rica's Axel Tasis to fire away a dangerous shot which Benjamin Blixt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Ulf Olofsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 74th minute, Lautaro Puig fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the game, Ulf Olofsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that KD Stiger were the better team. KD Stiger's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
