In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute of play forced KD Stiger's goalkeeper Benjamin Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Almqvist's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Almqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Almqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. KD Stiger's Benjamin Blixt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, KD Stiger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Asmundsson to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Blixt. KD Stiger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Vilgot Sandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Benjamin Blixt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KD Stiger's Ulf Olofsson got a free kick in the 59th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ulf Olofsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Benjamin Blixt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Berganza in the 70th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Sandberg in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KD Stiger's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Blixt came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulf Olofsson in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind.
