Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gergely Balázs kicked off to start the match. Petruț Dicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petruț Dicu. Exército Português's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Gergely Balázs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Soveral in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Dicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bruno Soveral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Soveral went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Gergely Balázs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 5-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Soveral in the 43rd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 48th minute. Exército Português's Nicolas Gois got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Soveral in the 61st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gergely Balázs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After 63 minutes of play, Exército Português's Gergely Balázs made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Dicu having to interfere. With a little luck, Exército Português's Petruț Dicu got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Soveral, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Balázs in the 77th minute of play. When Exército Português's Bruno Soveral in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Gergely Balázs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Bruno Soveral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play, Exército Português's Gustavo Carrasqueira made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Venezuela booed when Exército Português was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toro Lindø didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Exército Português players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
