If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Pacorro Aguilar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Pacorro Aguilar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Abram Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edwin van der Sar. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Jedrzej Kloczko got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Jedrzej Kloczko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pacorro Aguilar kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Achraf Hakimi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Achraf Hakimi. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Martino Armenta got a free kick in the 55th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacorro Aguilar in the 60th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pero Falla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pero Falla in the 84th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Pero Falla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pero Falla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ had won after a very even match.
