Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Iza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rio Gallegos Unidos's goalkeeper Roman Iza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Roman Iza in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, Emilio Nuno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Rio Gallegos Unidos's Cesar Belo was substituted for Paulino Mancio. Tomas Illescas in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roman Iza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 93rd minute Emilio Nuno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Balendin in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Rio Gallegos Unidos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
