Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 18 minutes into the match, ⭐️ Never Walk Alone ⭐️'s Delmiro Jayvier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ashley Hargreaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfírio Prates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yu Bin Jun hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Tymoteusz Gotfryd tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Roman Piszczek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 played minutes ⭐️ Never Walk Alone ⭐️ got a freekick which was hit by Roman Piszczek. Peru's Luz Tejedor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ⭐️ Never Walk Alone ⭐️. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Peru's Anthony Alvarado managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roman Piszczek in the 50 minute of the game. With a little luck, ⭐️ Never Walk Alone ⭐️'s Ashley Hargreaves got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th of the match, Julian Murillo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ashley Hargreaves got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Cengiz Kutbay in the 62nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
