The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máximo Maestro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Máximo Maestro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Alcocer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Máximo Maestro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 33rd minute of play. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eder Mangas. The supporters of Real Armal F.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo santillana in the 44th minute of play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Eder Mangas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo santillana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match Eder Mangas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, Real Armal F.C.'s Eder Mangas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Armal F.C. reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eder Mangas in the 64th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Rubio tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Benito Sanz. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 72nd minute. After 76 minutes of play, Real Armal F.C.'s Nereo santillana made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nereo santillana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aaron Alcocer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Armal F.C. fully deserved thier win.
