Guilherme Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 87 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Trey Echols. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Guilherme Veiga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Romeo Zeigler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Miami Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Romeo Zeigler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Miami Futbol Club succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
