After 16 played minutes Joga Bonito got a freekick which was hit by Andy Symons. After 18 minutes Joga Bonito's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cezary Chrzan who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Roberto Lewandowski drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Joga Bonito's goalkeeper. In the 23rd minute, Andy Symons reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roch Grondzki. The goal made the score 1-1. Oscar Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Artur Boruc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Lewandowski took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Boruc. Joga Bonito's Artur Boruc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Giraldo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Roberto Lewandowski made a precise shot to the right of Artur Boruc. Joga Bonito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Alejo Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
