Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eloy Dubardo got the match started through his kick off. Jesus Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BARRILETE COSMICO's Rafal Jaroszewicz got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 5 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jesus Llope came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. In the 8th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Llope was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Llope having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Justino Abaurre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in BARRILETE COSMICO's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesus Llope came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesus Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. BARRILETE COSMICO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Orlando Servando thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jesus Llope, a very annoying self made goal in the 32nd minute which led to 1-3. In the 35th minute of the match BARRILETE COSMICO got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lionel Messi ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37th minute of the match, Justino Abaurre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play forced BARRILETE COSMICO's goalkeeper Jesus Llope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BARRILETE COSMICO's Lionel Messi got a free kick in the 47th minute.

51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Abaurre came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Messi in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Lionel Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. BARRILETE COSMICO made a substitution. Marcin Najman replaced Justino Abaurre. When BARRILETE COSMICO's Marcin Najman in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After 83 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Lionel Messi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
